 "Thanks  for giving the kids the opportunity last week to have their own Master Chef on site and of course feature mussels and Marlborough products "

Havelock Mussel Lollypops (serves 12) 

1 cup Cooked Mussels

3 cups Plain Mashed Potatoes

1/2 cup Onions or shallots diced finely

4 tablespoons parsley chopped

1 large Egg

2 tablespoons Flour

1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

1/2 teaspoon Salt             

Mix all ingredients together and roll into a small ball, flour and push a Popsicle stick into the middle and cook in a hot pan with a little grape seed oil until golden brown
